Internet Explorer and the Online@UT (Blackboard) Upgrade

The default settings for Internet Explorer cause the browser to not play well with release 8 of Blackboard's software, especially the new Grade Center. Changing these settings should eliminate most problems:

Version 6

1. Under the Tools menu, select Internet Options
2. In the Temporary Internet Files section, click the Settings button.
3. Select the Every time I visit the web page option.

Version 7 and 8

1. Select Tools in the Internet Explorer toolbar.
2. Select Internet Options.
3. On the General tab in the Browsing History section, click the Settings button.
4. Under Check for newer version of the stored page, check the Every time I visit the web page option.
