iTunes U Link Building Block
The iTunes U Online@UT Building Block provides easy access to iTunes U course areas directly from the Online@UT interface without additional authentication.
This How-To guide assumes that the instructor is already familiar with Online@UT and is familiar with the iTunes interface. An iTunes U introduction video is available from Apple's website and iTunes tutorials are also available on how to navigate iTunes (explore), how to import music into iTunes, and how to create playlists.
In order to be able to create an iTunes U Link for students, the instructor must first request activation of the iTunes U Link for the course. This process may take up to 2 business days to complete by the iTunes U administrator. The instructor will receive email confirmation once this is complete. After receiving the email, the instructor can now create the actual iTunes U link within a content area in their Online@UT course. Clicking on this link allows the instructor and students access to their specific iTunes U course area where they can listen, view, download, or upload podcasts for their course. What is a podcast?
